The Mid Morning Dump: And Then There Were Six or So

Maybe I’ll be walking on to CycloneMBB here soon.

NEW ASSISTANT. Tony Minatta has hired a volunteer assistant coach who formerly played for Iowa State soccer.

THE BOZ. Kaylee Bosworth has hit three home runs in her past three games for Cyclone Softball.

SPARTANS DOWNED. San José State may have opened the game with two runs, but they went soft in a hurry and could not finish as Cyclone Softball downed the blue SJSU, 12-4.

BRIDE OUT. Kennedy-Hopoate is being shut down for the remainder of the season due to a foot injury.

REST IN PEACE. As some of you may know, the father of Donovan Jackson has passed away. Keep Donovan and his family in your thoughts, if you’d so like to do so.

D2 CYCLONE HOCKEY. We’re soon coming up on the ACHA National Tournament, and the D2 team is coming off a great MACHA Gold Division Championship performance.

YIKES.

FIGURE SKATING UPDATE. Shibutani and Shibutani secured a bronze medal for the States.

COWBOY VS. MEDEIROS. Sportsmanship is cool, and here is an example from a UFC fight last night.

TRAE YOUNG (drink) ARTICLE. Oklahoma is crashing and I’m here for it.

WEIRD CFB UNIFORM BRANDS. Aéropostale? Reebok? Apex One? Take a look for yourself, and try to forget that ISU had Russell Athletic off and on for about 20 years.
