Iowa State Matched Up With Ole Miss in Big 12/SEC Challenge

The Cyclones are headed to Oxford for just the second ever meeting between us and the Rebels.

Today, the Big 12 announced next season’s lineup for the annual Big 12/SEC Challenge. Next season, Steve Prohm’s young Cyclones will be headed to Oxford, Mississippi to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.

Barring any major changes before then, Iowa State will expect to be favored in that game, but road games are always difficult, especially against Power 5 competition. The most notable part of this matchup is that it will be happening in January after the newcomers and transfers will have had time to gel against a ton of quality non-conference competition.
