Chase Allen Named to Mackey Award Watch List

Redshirt sophomore and First Team Preseason All-Big 12 tight end Chase Allen has been tabbed on the Mackey Award watch list. The award is given annually to the nation’s top tight end.

Allen has yet to make a big impact in the receiving game, but the 6’7” Missouri native made tremendous strides in run blocking last season, and figures to be an important part of the passing game in the coming season.
