2019 three-star wing Marcedus Leech has verbally committed to Iowa State following lots of high major interest, including Kentucky and Kansas.
Iowa State has officially picked up a commitment from Jonesboro (Ark.) guard/wing Marcedus Leech, per a source. This one has been a long time coming for the Cyclones: https://t.co/daPvRI3O2Z pic.twitter.com/Ihi13yYEsG— Alex Halsted (@AlexHalsted) July 25, 2018
Leech has dealt with some injury problems the last few years, which may have dissuaded some school away from him, but when he’s healthy, he’s an absolute monster. Before his injury issues in high school, Leech had been bordering on a five-star rating.
Source confirms Iowa State is accepting Marcedus Leech’s commitment. Leech was coming off an injury and Cyclones were waiting for everything to check out. @TravisHines21 was first to report.— Matthew Bain (@MatthewBain_) July 25, 2018
