Grant Treiber has been on Iowa State’s radar for a long time. He is now going to be a Cyclone, making his commitment known this evening.
Couldn’t think of a better day than my birthday to make this decision ... I’m committed to Iowa State University! #18 #GoCyclones pic.twitter.com/6wVcKPcyP5
— Grant Treiber (@BigGTribes) July 28, 2018
Treiber had offers from Oregon, Nebraska and Minnesota. He is a 3-star offensive tackle with a composite ranking of 86 according to 247sports, and has been to many camps at Iowa State and a frequent visitor.
Treiber attributes his relationship to the coaching staff as one of the biggest reasons for committing to Iowa State. Iowa State likes Treiber’s upside, and see him turning into a big time offensive lineman in his time in Ames.
Iowa State now has the 24th ranked recruiting class in the country with 19 recruits, and is still looking to add some more big time recruits. Stay tuned to WRNL as more recruiting news breaks.
