Wide Right & Natty Live!
Wide Right & Natty Live is a brand new LIVE podcast that we will be broadcasting directly from our tailgate in Lot G7. Everyone is invited to stop by, say hello, have beer, and watch the show! So you can more easily find us, we’re going be flying this brand new flag above the tailgate.
We’re obviously going to talk about that day’s Iowa State football game, but we’re also going to recap last week’s game, talk about that week’s Big 12 slate, and much, much more. We’re also going to be sending one of our own directly into the student lots for a weekly contest. Each week, we’ll also be having a special guest on the show to join in on the discussion. It might be a Cyclone media personality, a former athlete, or maybe just some random person off the street.
The broadcast will be posted on our site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter, so you’ll have plenty of different ways to tune into the show. We’ll also have the ability to let people call in, so if you aren’t able to make it over to the tailgate to watch the show, but still have a question you want us to answer, you’ll still be able to ask us!
We’ll be broadcasting the first episode of Wide Right & Natty Live on September 1st before the season opener against South Dakota State at 3:00 PM. The show will last about about 45 minutes to an hour, so you’ll be able to listen to the entire show and still be ready to head into Jack Trice Stadium right when the gates open. In general, we’re going to start each show 4 hours before kickoff, unless it’s an 11:00 AM kick, which we will then start at 7:30 AM.
We’re really looking forward to this new adventure, and we hope you’ll join us! So if you’re going to be tailgating at any of the Iowa State home games this season, be sure to make your way over to the tailgate and have a beer and talk about the Cyclones with us!
