Boom – Cash Money!
Big victory last week for WRNL faithful – as we collectively went 2 for 2 with a positive $450,000 in the bank. To start the season, our monopoly bankroll began with $1,000,000, and we are now sitting pretty with a $1,550,000 balance.
If you haven’t followed my recommendations, you should now. Hop on for the ride!
Here are your bets for Week 4 of the Big 12 College Football Season
Akron (2-0, 0-0) at Iowa State (0-2, 0-1) | 11:00 A.M. on FSN | ISU -19.5
Somehow the Zips beat Northwestern last week behind THREE Defensive Touchdowns, and a dramatic change of events after halftime. Down 21-3, Akron stormed back with a vengeance, with two pick-sixes and a fumble recovery in the end zone. They were just as sloppy, with a muffed punt snap and 15 PENALTIES.
Iowa State takes care of the football, and does not make mistakes. Akron will not benefit the same in Ames. I’ll take the Cyclones in the victory, but the Zips to cover.
Kansas State (2-1, 0-0) at #12 West Virginia (2-0, 0-0) | 2:30 P.M on ESPN | WVU -14.5

A classic matchup of offensive juggernaut versus fundamental defense. The Mountaineers were unable to play a week ago due to Hurricane Florence, while the Wildcats got back on track with a win against the Road Runners of UTSA. The old me would say that extra half point is the difference here, as KSU typically stymies their way to a pay day in Vegas. This West Virginia team is too good and will blowout the Wildcats en route to a 3-score or more victory.
Give me WVU and the 14.5 points.
Army (2-1, 0-0) at #5 Oklahoma (3-0, 1-0) | 6:00 P.M. on Pay-Per-View | Oklahoma -31.5
Woof, this one is going to get ugly early. Army does not have the horses to stay with the Sooner Stallions pulling their Schooners. Give OU the credit here, nobody can stop Kyler Murray, especially a far inferior opponent in the Black Knights. It will be “Boomer Sooner” all day long…
I’ll take OU and the points
Texas Tech (2-1, 0-0) at #15 Oklahoma State (3-0, 0-0) | 6:00 P.M. on FS1 | Okie State -13
This one is going to be a shootout! Both teams know how to put the ball in the end zone, and we should easily see the 1,000-yard plateau breaking way, as well over 75 or more points scored. The over/under has not been set, but if I wanted to make a sound investment I would put my money in T-Bonds, er the Over on this game.
All kidding aside, we will most certainly a crap-ton of points, with the Pokes gaining the victory but Red Raiders beating the spread.
My top TWO BEST BETS of the week

Kansas (2-1, 0-0) at Baylor (2-1, 0-0) | 2:30 P.M. on FS1 | Baylor -9.5
Is this a joke? KU on the road, and they are only giving up 9.5 points? While Kansas did put up 55 against the dumpster fire that is Rutgers, they are still Kansas. I mean, it was their first time beating FBS opponents back-to-back since 2009. Baylor has at least been competent this year, and are playing this game at home.
All the more reason to bet everything on the Bears.
Give me Baylor -9.5 for $250k.
#17 TCU (2-1, 0-0) at Texas (1-1, 0-0) | 3:30 P.M. on FOX | TCU -2.5
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/13101167/usa_today_11172181.jpg)
Both of these teams battled against top-tier Power-Five Non-Conference teams in Prime-Time last week. One lost in a deflating way to Ohio State (TCU), while the other impressed in a victory over USC (Texas). This should be a knock-down, drag-out fight where the defenses flex their muscles. It should be a good one, but it all comes down to coaching for me, and Gary Patterson will run circles around Tom Herman.
Give me the Horned Frogs and their 2.5 points for $150k please.
