Against Iowa, Hakeem Butler struggled with a couple of drops, but bounced back in the biggest way possible against Oklahoma. With 5 receptions for 174 yards and two incredible touchdowns, Butler got the respect from the national media that he deserves. His performance earned him a spot the on the PFF College Big 12 Team of the Week.

Butler uses his unique size, strength, and speed to bully defensive backs, and it’s exactly what he did to the Sooner secondary. The 6’6 and 225 lb receiver used all of his skills on his two touchdowns.

After he found his rhythm last week, he went on a roll. Akron should be a victory, and an excellent opportunity for Butler to carry over his excellent play from last week. This will for sure be a game where Zeb Noland is slinging the ball around the field and getting more adjusted to being the starter, and Butler is without a doubt his a best target.
Expect for the offense to play very well against the Akron defense, and I would bet good money that Hakeem Butler has another monster game to lead the team.
Prediction: 125 yards, 7 receptions, 2 touchdowns
