Cast me off the fishes, I am done. We went an abysmal 0-for-3 last week, and I’m down to my last $45k of Monopoly Money.

This Big 12 Conference is tougher to figure out than a college freshman’s brain cells during the first few weeks on campus. Jekyll and Hyde are an understatement to the bipolarism of these teams. The same Kansas team that scored 34 points in their last two games, puts up 48 and barely loses to Texas. Yes that Texas, IN AUSTIN? TCU can’t get out of their own way, and loses to a lowly K-State squad that only produces 266 yards?

Oh, and then the ultimate Fake ID team of Baylor puts up 21 in the fourth quarter and runs away from Okie State. On the road?

I don’t know anymore.

Eight Big 12 teams are in action this week, as West Virginia and Baylor have BYE weeks.

SATURDAY October 16th GAMES

#5 Oklahoma (6-0, 3-0) at Kansas State (4-2, 1-2) | 11:00 A.M. On ABC | OU -21

Oklahoma continues to run through their schedule like yours truly in the old NCAA Football video game, and you have to guess they put up another 50-spot.

K-State somehow beat TCU albeit no offensive statistics. They need 3 games of production to match the Sooners’ prowess.

Give me OU big, and I like them covering the three-touchdown spread.

#15 Texas (5-2, 3-1) at TCU (3-3, 1-2) | 2:30 P.M. on FOX | Texas -1.5

WOW! Texas deserved to get kicked out of the Top-25 after their dismal performance against Kansas last week. Clearly this defense has problems, as they allowed 24 points in the 4th quarter (and 48 total) to an awful, awful Jayhawk team.

TCU ran the ball down K-State’s throat, but couldn’t get out of its own way in a loss in Manhattan. With that being said, I have NO CLUE what is going to happen in this Texas showdown.

Believe it or not, the Horned Frogs opened as 2.5-point favorites, but now the Longhorns have moved the line by 4 points and are the road favorites. My guess is Texas wins, but who in the world knows anymore.

Texas Tech (3-4, 1-3) at Kansas (3-3, 1-2) | 6:00 P.M. on FOX | Texas Tech -4.5

The Red Raiders started their game in a hole 0-20 at home to ISU last week, and while they climbed back, the defense was a sad mess. KU went through shock therapy and almost beat Texas on the road, putting up 48.

I still think Texas Tech is the better team, I don’t care where the game is being played. Guns UP!

Here are my best bets for Week NINE of the 2019 Season

Oklahoma State (4-3, 1-3) at #23 Iowa State (5-2, 3-1) | 2:30 P.M. on FS1 | ISU -8.5, O/U 65.5

It is safe to say that Iowa State is clicking on all cylinders, and is one of the hottest teams in the Big 12 Conference.

Oklahoma State – your guess is as good as mine? They carry one of the nation’s best running backs, but a turnover-prone quarterback and defense that can’t stop a blind squad.

I think this one might be closer than you think, and would expect the Cowboys to cover. I’m all on the OVER of 65.5, as this game has produced total scores of 80+ in each of the last two years.

I’ll bet my remaining balance of $45k on the OVER of 65.5. Good luck, and remember, enter at your own risk.
