With almost half of the conference idle - and no surprises for those who did play - the rankings virtually stand pat this week.

This week brings us a few different marquee matchups, so buckle up on Saturday.

On to the show!

1. Baylor (8-0, 5-0; defeated West Virginia 17-14)
Last Week’s Ranking: 1
Every top team has its proverbial trap game, and the Bears almost fell victim at home vs. the Mountaineers. A lone fourth quarter field goal helped propel the conference’s biggest surprise to yet another win.
This Week: at TCU (4-4, 2-3)

2. Oklahoma (7-1, 4-1; idle)
Last Week’s Ranking: 2
You’d better believe the Sooners have been stewing on their loss for well over a week now, and will look to carry out that frustration on the Cyclones. Though, to be fair, there’s a similar sentiment coming out of Ames...
This Week: vs. Iowa State (5-3, 3-2)

3. Kansas State (6-2, 3-2; defeated Kansas 38-10)
Last Week’s Ranking: 3
The Wildcats won a laugher over the Jayhawks, and now have a significant road test in Austin.
This Week: at Texas (5-3, 3-2)

4. Oklahoma State (5-3, 3-3; defeated TCU 34-27)
Last Week’s Ranking: 4
Gutty win for the Cowboys over TCU, and their reward is a bye week to regroup before hosting Kansas on Nov. 16.
This Week: BYE

5. Iowa State (5-3, 3-2; idle)
Last Week’s Ranking: 5
You’d better believe the Cyclones have been stewing on their loss for well over a week now, and will look to carry out that frustration on the Sooners. Though, to be fair, there’s a similar sentiment coming out of Norman...
This Week: at Oklahoma (7-1, 4-1)

6. Texas (5-3, 3-2; idle)
Last Week’s Ranking: 6
A big opportunity for the Longhorns to get back on track with a home date against a top-20 team in Kansas State. It’s been a disappointing season to this point, but Texas can still finish the season with nine wins with victories over Kansas State, Iowa State, Baylor, and Texas Tech.
This Week: vs. Kansas State (6-2, 3-2)

7. TCU (4-4, 2-3; lost to Oklahoma State 34-27)
Last Week’s Ranking: 7
The season has been fairly close to a disaster for the Frogs ... they need a big win while hosting the unbeaten Bears if there’s any hope of salvaging the season.
This week: vs. Baylor (8-0, 5-0)

8. West Virginia (3-5, 1-4; lost to Baylor 17-14)
Last Week’s Ranking: 9
The Mountaineers showed plenty of fight against the Bears, but it wasn’t enough in the end. A home date with the Raiders is just what the doctor ordered, and West Virginia is virtually playing for its season.
This Week: vs. Texas Tech (3-5, 1-4)

9. Kansas (3-6, 1-5; lost to Kansas State 38-10)
Last Week’s Ranking: 8
The Jayhawks got thumped by their big football brother last week.
This Week: BYE

10. Texas Tech (3-5, 1-4; idle)
Last Week’s Ranking: 10
After a week off to lick their wounds, the Raiders head to Morgantown in what will likely be a shootout. A season that started off with a little promise is now on life support.
This Week: at West Virginia (3-5, 1-4)
