Matt Campbell will be in Ames until at least the 2025 season. All rumors were tossed away this morning after the contract extension was agreed upon.
“I greatly appreciate Dr. (Wendy) Wintersteen’s and (Iowa State AD) Jamie’s (Pollard) proactive approach to extending my contract,” Campbell said. “My staff and I will be on the road this week actively recruiting the next class of Cyclones and it is important for recruits and their families to understand my commitment to Iowa State.”
Iowa State announces that Matt Campbell has agreed to a contract extension through 2025. "Both Matt and I wanted to send a message to our fans and recruits and their families, that he is excited about the future of our football program,” Jamie Pollard.

Details of the contract extension will be announced at a later date. More than likely will include some raises for the assistant coaches.
This is great news for all the fans that have been worried. Now the focus shifts to the bowl game which will be announced on Sunday. Iowa State will go for it’s third straight 8-win season in whatever bowl game they get sent to after this weekend.
Everyone breathe!
