Steve Prohm is going to be a Cyclones for quite a bit longer!
Steve Prohm has been in the coaching rumors over the course of the last two days, but today, those rumors were torn to pieces. Jamie Pollard announced on Twitter that Steve Prohm has agreed to a contract extension with Iowa State that will keep him the Cyclones coach until 2025.
Excited to announce we have agreed to a contract extension with @CoachProhm through 2025. Awesome to have a basketball coach that fits our department's culture of excellence while also having integrity, kindness and humility.

The details of the contract have not yet been released, but this is certainly good news for Iowa State to get Prohm locked up and back on the recruiting trail without any rumors floating around.
Jamie Pollard is not shy from rewarding his coaches with contract extensions to keep some stability in his athletic department. His quick work on this is one of the many examples why he is one of the nation’s top athletic directors.
