Following the commitments of QB Hunter Dekkers, DE Johnny Wilson, and JUCO WR Xavier Hutchinson, 2020 three-star offensive lineman Sam Rengert from Milford Center, OH has become the thirteenth commitment of the class, and the fourth in just the last 24 hours.

The future Cyclone currently stands at a mammoth 6’7” and 285 pounds, which absolutely screams left or right tackle. Rengert is fourth offensive line commitment of the class, along with Hayden Pauls, Brady Petersen, and Tyler Miller (who is actually an inch and a half taller than Rengert).
As has been the case throughout his tenure in Ames, Matt Campbell is undoubtedly making a point of building the team from the inside out. The defensive line has already seen its enormous transformation, and now the offensive line appears to be on its way there as well.
