To absolutely nobody’s surprise, Matt has continued to be absolutely lethal from the perimeter over his two years since leaving Ames, shooting 47% from three on 7.5 attempts/36 minutes. For reference, Klay Thompson, widely considered to be the second-best shooter in the NBA outside of his teammate Stephen Curry, is shooting 42% for his career on 7.6 attempts per 36 minutes.
Needless to say, Matt’s earned his NBA contract, and should immediately become one of the best three-point shooters in the league from day one.
