Brock Purdy is primed for another sensational season, except this time award lists, fans, and opposing teams are ready for it. Purdy was named to the Maxwell Award’s Preseason Watch List. ESPN called him the Big 12’s Best True Freshman of the Year, and his story is just truly starting.
The meteoric rise over his freshman campaign led Iowa State to a 7-2 record with a season culminating in an Alamo Bowl appearance where he threw for 315 yards.
