When the season kicks off on August 31st, the Cyclones will be ranked in at least one preseason poll. Today the preseason Coaches Poll was released and the Cyclones found themselves ranked 24th.

Clemson is ranked #1 in the country for the first time in the preseason. Oklahoma comes in at 4th, Texas 10th and Iowa is at 19th. The AP poll will be released later this month prior to the season. Iowa State kicks off the season on August 31st against Northern Iowa. The game will be televised at 11am on FS1.
