The game started out with a nice drive that ended up in a Chase Allen touchdown, which was called off by a penalty. How many times will one of our TE’s catch a touchdown only to be declared ineligible? Three points for the Cyclones ended up being a Tech touchdown, as the field goal was blocked and returned for a touchdown. Special teams has been an absolute roller coaster this season. Thankfully the offense came to play, and scored easily on their next possession. Brock Purdy led the Cyclones on another long scoring drive, with Chase Allen catching a touchdown pass. The Cyclone defense absolutely shut down the Tech offense in the first half. And Breece took to the air to score his second touchdown of the half. The Tech offense headed to the locker room at half time to regroup like: The second half got interesting when Dylan Soehner got rocked and fumbled the football. But the defense continued to come up with big plays and key stops. And Isheem Young hits like a freight train. Breece Hall took to the air again. Henry Colombi came in and did some things in garbage time, but it was too late. Breece Hall continues his habit of running right through defenses. And the Cyclones ended up winning in dominating fashion. Brock Purdy waving at the haters like: Matt Campbell teams really enjoy playing Texas Tech.
