The Cyclones landed a commitment from a 2021 kicker by the name of Tyler Bittman. The 6’3, 195 pounder has been named a 5-star by our reliable source, the Donnie Report.
Bittman, the Harland, Wisconsin native, received offers from Air Force, Army, Colgate and Eastern Illinois.
According to Kohl’s Kicking, “He has arguably the strongest kickoff leg in the country. In the winter, he charted a big ball of 85 yards with 4.37 seconds of hang time and won the kickoff competition (on) day one with a 77-yard 4.4-second blast. Bittman is capable of competing for a Power 5 starting spot on kickoffs right now.”

A kicker that kicks the ball out of the end zone, might be the difference between a Fiesta Bowl season and a national championship season.
