Heading into the weekend, Iowa State was still searching for their first pledge for the 2021 class. After hosting a big junior day with plenty of top talent, Iowa State landed 2021 offensive lineman Dodge Sauser out of Grinnell, Iowa and now has just landed a commitment from 2021 wide receiver Tristan Michaud out of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
“The coaching staff is amazing. The facilities are great and it’s a winning program.” The big 6’5 receiver said. “My favorite part of my visit today was seeing the coaching staff and even getting to meet some of the players.”
After being offered back in September, the Cyclones were always a big player in his recruitment. Just last week Eastern Michigan gave him an offer and it appeared that other programs were soon to follow. Now with Tristan in the fold, we can all wait and see what other possible fireworks will go off after a big junior day weekend. Stay tuned because after Saturday, I will be chatting with all the visitors from this weekend to see where the Cyclones stand with these prospects.
