It looks like the Cyclones are starting to put the finishing touches on the 2020 class as offensive guard Anthony Smith out of Lakeland, Florida has just announced his commitment to Iowa State. Smith is the twenty-third member of the 2020 class for the Cyclones and the only commit listed as a guard. This is key because Iowa State’s four other signees are listed as tackles.
Despite being offered on Monday, the Cyclones fought off schools such as Hawaii, Coastal Carolina and nearby Florida Atlantic for is commitment. With the final signing day tomorrow, could we see another possible prospect join this 2020 class?
