Former four-star guard Terrence Lewis has entered his name in to the Transfer Portal, making it three players in the last four days to leave the Iowa State basketball program.

Lewis’ transfer doesn’t come as much of a surprise to many, as he was never able to develop any sort of a consistent role in the rotation over the past three seasons. At times, Lewis showed a nice scoring punch and touch from outside, but those bursts of offense would often be followed by fits of maddening defense or awful turnovers.
He averaged 4.5 points on 41.1% shooting from the floor and 30.4% from three over his career 71 appearances and 11.4 minutes per game.
That now makes three open scholarships heading into the 2020-2021 season. Given hot his season, the three players he finds to fill those spots could very well decide his fate in Ames following next season.
