Mendeszoon is the first defensive end in the class of 2021, but it’s still early. He joins a position group that graduates Enyi Uwazurike and Jaquan Bailey in 2020.
Iowa State was his first and only FBS offer, as his other offers came from Bucknell and Georgetown.
