Allen Lazard
Stats
6 receptions (8 targets) for 146 yards and 1 touchdown
Week 3 Review
Allen Lazard got the chance to really got the chance to show the world what he can do on Sunday. Primetime game, Brees vs. Rodgers, Davante Adams out; it was the perfect chance, and he made every second count. Lazard let the team in every statistical category and even got the game ball. With the Saints defense queued in on Aaron Jones and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Rodgers looked to Lazard, who was once again the go-to target on 3rd down.

Week 4 Outlook
Week 4 for Lazard is honestly looking pretty sweet. He gets an extra day of rest as the Packers take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football on ESPN at Lambeau Field. The Falcons are coming off blowing 15+ point leads in the 4th quarter in back-to-back weeks and have given up 1,088 yards passing through 3 games. Davante Adams’ health should impact Lazard a lot, but even if he plays, expect the Packers to take advantage of the Falcons secondary woes.
David Montgomery
Stats
13 Rushes for 45 yards and 2 receptions for 9 yards.
Week 3 Review
The Bears struggled on offense for 45 minutes. The falcons knew that Mitchel Trubisky was not a threat to throw the ball further than 5 yards. That’s when they began loading the box and blitzing near the guards. The run game just wouldn’t take off and David Montgomery was silenced. Once the Bears made the switch to Nick Foles at quarterback Montgomery had his best runs of the afternoon including two key 10 yard runs late in the fourth quarter.

Week 4 Outlook
Look, the Bears need a quarterback to take the pressure off the run game. For years the run game in Chicago has been hampered by poor quarterback play. Hopefully Nick Foles can at least make them a threat enough through the air to open something up for David Montgomery. With Tarik Cohen out for the season with an ACL tear. Montgomery’s carries are about to sky rocket. Should be fun to watch.
