Iowa State starts a three game road trip as well as a four game swing in eight days on Saturday against Oklahoma.
Iowa State fought hard down the stretch but ultimately fell to West Virginia, 76-72. Now the Cyclones go on the road to Norman to face off against Lon Kruger’s Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners are coming off a loss by the hands of Texas Tech on Monday night. Though, prior to Monday night Oklahoma was on a five game winning streak which helped lead to their top ten ranking.
The Cyclones will be at full strength for the first time in nearly a month as Javan Johnson is expected to be back in action this morning. As we progress through the season it will be all about progress towards getting better and one to watch will Jaden Walker. The freshman guard showed his playmaking ability against West Virginia earlier this. It’s certainly something Iowa State fans may be able to clinch on to going forward.
