Even more accolades for Bill Fennelly’s squad.

After a solid regular season, the Twister Sisters had 4 players pick up some All-Conference nods.

Ashley Joens earned her second straight All-Big 12 first team honor, once again unanimously. Joens led the conference in scoring, with 23.4 points per game to go with 9 rebounds per game to lead the Cyclones.

On the All-Big 12 second team was senior forward, Kristin Scott. Scott averaged 11.7 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 42% from three point range.

Lexi Donarski picked up a pair of honors, the bigger of the two being the Big 12 Freshman of the Year. She poured in over 13 points per game on 41% shooting from three in her first season in Ames.

Donarski’s second honor was being named to the All-Big 12 Freshman team, along with teammate Emily Ryan, who was second in the Big 12 with 5.7 assists per game. Both were the only unanimous selections of the team.
