The Ames native is staying home. Tamin Lipsey committed to Iowa State on Wednesday evening. This is the fourth big win for Iowa State over the course of the last week and it sets the stage for a potentially big 2022 recruiting swing. Lipsey was the first offer by T.J. Otzelberger when he took the job in March.

The three star guard was being courted by Minnesota, Nebraska and others before committing to Iowa State. Lipsey suffered an ACL just before his sophomore season which led to a hit in his recruiting ranks but that won’t diminish the talented player that Iowa State will have in the cardinal and gold starting in 2022.
Stay tuned to WRNL as the basketball recruiting cycle moves along.
