As WRNL has grown through the years, we’ve been trying to find new ways to create content for you all as the media landscape has changed.
We’ve obviously expanded our podcast network quite a bit, and have built up a guest list over the past couple of years that we’re pretty proud of, including Tyrese Haliburton, Fran Fraschilla, Rece Davis, and Matt Campbell (and hopefully even more in the future).
We’ve also started branching out into video. You’re all well aware of our hype tapes by now, but we’ve also started doing some Twitch/YouTube live streams with the CFB Revamped Mod for NCAA Football 14, and have done a few experiments in the past with things like video versions of The Film Room.
If all of those projects have been us dipping our toes in the water to check the temperature, you can consider this to be us doing a full cannonball into the town pool. This new project is called The Night Cap, and will essentially be our take on a late-night show.
Matthias Schwartzkopf, Aiden Wyatt (producer), and I have some big things planned for the show, but you can expect to see some highlights, special guests, film analysis, recruiting info, memes, gifs, beer, games, and more among the usual smattering of shenanigans you’d expect from us. We’ll also be answering any viewer questions we get in the comments as well, so you can have your input on the show.
We’re really excited to get this going, and for you all to check it out.
So, crack open a cold one come join us on YouTube every Tuesday night at 8:00 PM CT, starting this Tuesday, April 6th.
