Eli King Commits To Iowa State

T.J. Otzelberger’s hot streak continues on. This time with another addition to the 2022 class and it’s a big one. Eli King has committed to Iowa State and will join Tamin Lipsey as part of the class. King was the second offer of the 2022 class for the new Iowa State staff and they won him over in a short time.

King is currently a three star prospect according to 247sports but that appears that will be changing in the future. King held offers from Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska. His decision really came down to Iowa State and Iowa.

King has been sidelined with a meniscus injury he suffered last fall. He also missed his entire junior season due to the same injury but appears to be on track to play AAU ball this summer. Which most certainly will push his rankings up. Between King and Lipsey this appears to be a highly ranked class that will be coming to Ames.
