Welcome to the #Vikings, @KWang3_! pic.twitter.com/7NMuTzGQdx
Nwangwu shot up draft boards after his pro day workout in March. Many had him slated to go in the 6th round or later but the Vikings took a stab at the former running back and return man for Iowa State. Nwangwu received honorable mention All-Big 12 last season rushing for 339 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 19 kickoff returns for 550 yards, including a pivotal one against Oklahoma in Ames.
Stay tuned to WRNL today as we see where more Cyclones land to start their NFL careers.
