For 1st time, both Iowa and Iowa State will be in AP Top 25 on Saturday. They will also both be in the top 10--Iowa State No. 9 Iowa 10th. The programs have never been in the top 10 at the same time.
DEPENDING on who you ask, of course.

ALL APOLOGIES Former Michigan star Chris Webber said the University of Michigan and himself have taken a step towards reconciling after Michigan AD Warde Manuel privately apologized to him.
HEALING UP Jacob deGrom, who has been out since early July, sprained the UCL in his pitching arm, but Mets president Sandy Alderson said it has since fully healed.
THAT CUTS DEEP The New Orleans Saints reportedly cut Latavius Murray after he refused to take a pay cut before the season’s start. Ouch.
RED CARD USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie was dismissed by the team after he reportedly spent a night outside the bubble, breaking protocol. In a separate violation, he supposedly had an unauthorized person back in his hotel room. Whoops!
OF COURSE HE DID Albert Pujols homered in the first inning of the Dodgers’ game in St. Louis, earning cheers from the fans in the process.
Albert Pujols homering in St. Louis just feels right @BRWalkoff
