T.J. Otzelberger promotes Nate Schmidt to become new Iowa State men's basketball assistant

T.J. Otzelberger hasn’t only been recruiting players to an Iowa State men’s basketball program that reached the NCAA’s Sweet 16 last season, he’s also had time to alter his staff. Nate Schmidt will fill the assistant coaching void left when Daniyal Robinson became Cleveland State’s head coach, while former Northern Iowa assistant Erik Crawford replaces Schmidt as director of player development. Additionally, graduate assistant Mo Ba has been promoted to assistant director of player development.
