Syndication: The Ames Tribune Nirmalendu Majumdar/Ames Tribune / USA TODAY NETWORK

Last Time Out

The Cyclones most recent performance was a 12 point loss to Syracuse in Las Vegas by a score of 69-81. This game saw a massive offensive night from two freshman Audi Crooks and Addy Brown. Crooks dropped 23 shooting 10-12 from the floor, Brown scored 19 including connecting from behind the arc three times.

A rough night from the free throw line and another slow third quarter led to the downfall of the Cyclones. A team performance of 5-13 from the charity stripe hurt, and helped lead to the loss. Despite the loss, the Clones did out-rebound the Orange and will look to do the same against St. Thomas.

About St. Thomas

St. Thomas comes into the game with a 3-3 record. They started the season with a loss to Drake, followed by three straight victories against UW-River Falls, Utah Valley, and Saint Mary’s. After winning three straight, St. Thomas dropped both games in California at the Tiger Turkey Tip-Off to UC Irvine and Butler.
