Last Time Out

The last outing for the Clones was a fun one. In an upset over Baylor, the Cyclones won 66-63 and moved to 5-0 in the conference. The Cyclones were led by freshman Audi Crooks who scored 23 points and added 6 boards as well. Senior Hannah Belanger was the only other scorer to hit double figures scoring 15 thanks in big part to her 3-4 shooting from behind the arc.

The win was huge for the Cyclones not only as Baylor was ranked 4th in the country, but the win kept the Clones tied for the conference lead with Kansas State at 5-0. Tonights showdown in Lubbock is a big one to keep this season on the exciting trajectory it appears to be on.

About Texas Tech

Tech stormed out of the gates winning their first 11 games. After the hot start, they dropped back to back games against Tulsa and Oregon State. Since starting conference play, they are 2-3 with wins against Houston and Kansas, and losses to Texas, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma. Their last two games were back to back road losses to the aforementioned Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.
