Week 5 Results

Texas Tech Red Raiders 30 - Kansas Jayhawks 20

Despite 584 yards of offense, Texas Tech had their lowest scoring game this season on their trip to Memorial Stadium. The Red Raiders have averaged 33.3 points on the road this season compared to 61.5 in Lubbock. That will not benefit them this week as they travel to Norman to face an angry Sooners squad.

Kansas quarterback, Ryan Willis, threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns as the Jayhawks tried to make this a game late in the fourth quarter.

West Virginia Mountaineers 38 - (2) Baylor Bears 62

Corey Coleman caught his 14th, 15th and single-season-school-record 16th touchdowns of the year as the Baylor Bears exacted revenge for last season's lone regular season loss. Seth Russell led the Bears in passing (380 yards, 5 touchdowns) and rushing (160 yards, 1 touchdown).

Skyler Howard threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns for the Mountaineers who are now winless in conference play.

(19) Oklahoma Sooners 55 - Kansas State Wildcats 0

Oklahoma - clearly mistaking Manhattan, Kansas for Ames, Iowa - dominated Bill Snyder's team, limiting the Wildcats to just 110 yards of total offense. Joe Hubener, sacked six times, completed four passes to purple jerseys - three to those dressed in the Crimson and Cream.

This was the first time since 1991 K-State had been held scoreless at home.

(3) TCU Horned Frogs 45 - Iowa State Cyclones 21
